French is a curriculum area that all children at Ballan participate in for one hour a week. The children are given the opportunity to learn French words and phrases by using them in various situations.
Some examples of the language studied are introducing themselves formally, asking and answering questions and giving and receiving various items. The children also participate in activities relating to the many cultural differences between France and Australia, as well as learning about some of the many festivals that are held in this fascinating country.
